Christmas Stockings

The serenity of the cool desert morning was shattered as three men clad in dark suits sprayed bullets from their Tommy guns through the manager killing the young family huddled together against the frigid air of a Bethlehem winter – screams rippled through the carnage strewn about, but they were not screams of horror, rather, it was indignation as an irate Francis Coppola shouted “cut” demanding that the set be cleared and threatening a lump of coal in the stocking of whoever in Central Casting sent him these three wise guys for his nativity scene.
