“Gee, Lizzy, that sounds good, but what is a Hertz donunt anyway?” Johnny asked, with equal feigned innocence, knowing this was going to lead to a wrestling match, with much groping, for which they would both get kept after school, which would in turn lead to them getting to walk home together, out of sight of the other kids, with a stop at the canal to catch water-skimmers.
